Overview

Centered (now known as The Sukha Company) is a startup based in San Francisco. Centered is an app that enhances a user’s Flow State by combining mindfulness with productivity. As a Content Marketing and Community Assistant, most of my work takes place on social media through branding and designing content. I developed a social media campaign in terms of engaging with users and gaining popularity, and created various content for social media.

big questions to think about

  •     How can Centered be used as a tool to help people?

  •     What is the bigger picture?

my involvement

By researching and discovering the top searched keywords, I was able to think about how this can be used to increase engagements with Centered. This included hashtags, title naming, and short descriptions to increase SEO discoverability. The value of this information relates to the blog posts. While writing the blog posts, I also made it a priority to link back to older blog posts, as well as linking to earlier blog posts. Having backlinks further increases discoverability.

How can Centered be used as a tool to help people? What communities would benefit most from Centered?

I designed content that was posted on Centered socials ranging from posts to carousels. This started with researching different quotes that pulled in those communities. Establishing a consistent aesthetic and style makes it easier on the eyes. It furthermore replicates the simple, and clean UI design of the Centered app.

The type of content I created focused on empowering quotes and text to engage the audience.

Moving Forward

After experimenting and learning through the initial campaign, the team and I changed our strategy. This time, our social media content focused on the theme of Instigate and Educate. This campaign started from March 2021 to April 2021. Below is an example Instagram carousel post that I created, focusing on an article on Languishing by The New York Times.
